Fairy Lake Vancouver Island in Canada

Fairy Lake Nature Trail is part of a British Columbia Forest Recreation Site and is located about 5 km from Port Renfrew. The lake is a sandy beach recreation destination, complete with a campsite, located upstream from the mouth of the San Juan River.

Sitting on top of an old Douglas fir log grows the little Douglas fir tree which has been dubbed “The Fairy Lake Bonsai Tree”. It is estimated to be somewhere between 40 and 50 years old.
