Jay Wamsted teaches high school math in southwest Atlanta. He has been playing piano for over thirty years—sometimes in bands and sometimes alone. He holds a Ph.D. in education from Georgia State University and his published writing can be found both online and in various journals and magazines. In addition to teaching math, he has taught private lessons for both piano and guitar; currently he is working with his own children on these very arrangements.
